להקת "האימהות" החלה את דרכה כרביעייה אשר ליוותה את ג'ון לונדביק (John Lundvik) באירוויזיון 2019 בתל אביב. בנות הלהקה החליטו להתמודד במלודיפסטיבלן והפעם לעמוד במרכז הבמה! כעת מורכבת הלהקה משלוש בנות: אשלי היינס (Ashley Haynes), לולו לאמוט (Loulou Lamotte) ודינה יונס מאנה (Dinah Yona's Manna).

השיר נכתב על ידי מלאני וובה (Melanie Wehbe), פטריק ז'אן (Patrik Jean) והרמן גרדרבה (Herman Gardarfve). מלאני וובה כתבה את השיר של דנמרק באירוויזיון 2019, "Love Is Forever", אשר הגיע למקום ה- 10 בגמר. הרמן גרדרבה כתב את השיר של שוויץ לאירוויזיון 2018, "Stones", אשר הגיע למקום ה- 13 בחצי הגמר, בנוסף הפיק את השיר "Never Give Up On You" אשר ייצג את בריטניה באירוויזיון 2017.
